Ties mispositioned on occasion when cross-stave notes used

Not clear EXACTLY what causes this problem. I had difficulty pinning the precise cause down: in the attached score, you can easily see the problem in measure 2 with the B-flat in the right-hand, mid-measure. The Tie is positioned AS IF the B-flats were in the BOTTOM Stave. Toggling on/off does not fix. Also, when UNTIED, both B's show FLAT symbol (although second is redundant). If you REMOVE the second flat symbol on the dotted quarter note and THEN toggle tie - the tie can't even find the second B-flat and draws a LONG tie (on the bottom stave) to the end of the measure.

THIS MIGHT BE SOME ODD IMPORT issue (score was originally in Musescore3). It occurs in several places in this score as you can see (measures 3, 41, 55, 65. There were some other minor import issues from MS3 (flips were lost, etc. but those were pretty simple to fix), but what caused this issue with ties is not immediately obvious, nor is it obvious what to do to fix it.
