This latest version crashing a lot more than previous versions,

I am not sure why but MuseScore seems to be crashing a lot more after a cut and paste. Sometimes only with a couple of notes pasted. It has always crashed occasionally but today this is the 4th time it crashed this morning after updating. I am still going to use it because I love the program, and after it crashes I have to shut it down with Task Manager (Windows 10) . Thankfully it does restore pretty close to where I was up to.
