Musescore 4 — Change duration of notes w/o including rests

Say I have four quarter notes in a row, and I want to change them all to eighth notes. But instead of changing them each to eighth notes plus an eighth rest, I'd rather them be changed to four eighth notes right in a row. How could I do that?
