Crosshead notes in Musescore 4
Do crosshead notes exist in MS4?
Because the handbook does not mention them: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/ and Shift+X per default now mirros the notehand as opposed to in MS3, where Shift+X would toggle crosshead notes: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/tablature#Crosshead_notes

I'm not aware of such a function in Mu3, there too Shift+X mirrors noteheads.
Properties > Note > Head ... and then take your pick of head styles
