How to get notes into bass clef with MIDI or keyboard input?
Macbook Pro, MuseScore 4: Starting with a Piano Grand Staff, MIDI keyboard and "P" screen keyboard both work entering notes, but I can't figure out how to get MS to place bass clef notes in the bass stave. They all end up multiple ledger lines down from the treble stave!
Using a mouse pointer works to place notes in bass stave. Can't find directions or a tutorial (none of the tutorial videos are working!) to explain how to get MIDI or keyboard input to place notes on bass stave.

Simply select the bass clef staff before starting note input, or move the cursor there (eg, with Alt+Down).
You mention mouse and MIDI as well as the piano keyboard window, but note the most common & most efficient method of note input is your computer keyboard - simply typing note names.
