Musescore 4 looping begins looping wrong measures with prior closed repeated section

It seems Musescore 4 is counting the repeated measures as actual measures and begins the looping before the measures one wants to hear. For example, in a score, if I have a 2 bar loop (used as a safety in the biz to hold a section as underscore until the dialogue or action on stage is ready to move forward) at measure 1-2 and enclose them with repeat when I loop measure(s), say 8 the loop plays measure 6, 2 bars before.
