Step 1: File > Print > (select printer) > Advanced > (change default from A4 to Letter) > OK > Print
Step 2: File > Save
Step 3: File > Print ...etc...
NOTE - "Letter" paper size is changed back to "A4".

As far as I can tell after the "(select printer)" step you're in the printer driver, not in MuseScore anymore, so you'd need to bring that up with the vendor of the printer
MS4 gets paper size from the locale on your computer.
If you have en_US, then it will always be letter
And that is by design
