How to make MuseScore play a subsequent coincident note of the same pitch distinctly?
While a note is played and held in one voice, in another voice, a note of the same pitch is to sound after one or several beats.
I am using Linux and MuseScore 3.2.3. When the first note is of a longer duration and held during the occurrence of the second note, the second note is not played distinctly, and I just hear the first note held throughout the entire duration of the two notes.
Is there a setting to make MuseScore play the second note distinctly, or must I make the first note end before or when the second note is placed?
Thanks in advance.

I see. I chose 3.2.3 because it is only 76 MB, whereas 4.0.1 is 3.6 GB.
Just using the inbuilt grand piano sound. I was wondering whether there is a setting in older versions achieving what I want to do.

Still better choose 3.6.2

Thanks, but I do not have 3.6.2 available with Linux.

There sure is, in form of an AppImage
Use 3.6.2, the latest 3.x version
