I saved this version immediately after it happened. I changed the dynamic on the voice (tenor) part at m28 from p to mp and Musescore crashed. I reloaded and it did it again. Crashed again. I then tried to change a dynamic on a different instrument at the beginning of the piece and it crashed again as well.
The changes from older to newer version were largely hiding or deleting non-used instruments, and changing a part name. I changed Tenor to Voice. So those would be the only steps I took.
I will upload the prior version and the offending version.
older:
Punta_Patri Musescore 4 - 012323 - 01 - SCORE
crashing version:
Punta_Patri Musescore 4 - 012423 - 01 - SCORE

Correction, I did generate the individual Voice part before making the initial dynamic change. The change was made from the score, not the individual part.
Jojo I'm not sure why it changed it back to S3 from your change to S2. I didn't manually make that change. Just want to make that clear.
Probably because our posts crossed, happens quite often
