Drum Pallette Completely Wrong

• Jan 24, 2023 - 19:44

Been trying to transcribe a song, as one does, and before I could put in literally one single note, I noticed the entire pallette is wrong. The "acoustic bass drum" plays some sort of weird clicking. Bass drum 1 is an open hi hat. The side stick is a tom. Acoustic snare is a bass drum. Electric snare is an acoustic snare. Low tom is a clap. The closed hi hat is another snare sound. The open hi hat is a closed hi hat. The crash cymbal is a ride. Seriously? And no, this isn't a notation issue. In the PRE SET MUSESCORE DRUM PALLETE with NO adjustments, nearly every single sound is completely wrong. Is musescore going to fix this or am I going to have to figure out how to individually change drumset sounds? I am getting fed up with these bugs.

Must be on your end because sounds are correct on my system. But you can change things in the "Edit Drum Palette" section.

Oh, and also, the marking for "repeat the previous two bars", yknow, the double slashed repeat with a "2" above it, doesn't work. It plays the measure immediately preceding it once and then stops, rather than repeating the previous two bars. This seems like it should be simple.
