Open a score (mine is SATB). Select continuous (horizontal) and zoom in, say 200%. Once one screen's worth is past, the left end of the score is hidden by the greyed out clef, key sig and time sig.
This is extremely irritating when entering notes. When the right end of the visible staves is reached, the cursor jumps to the left where it is hidden.

Score stems from 4.0, not 3.6
It is, however, the same issue in 3.x and 2.x (1.x didn't have continuous view) and is by design
