Also re-saving works are not being accomplished.

It is not clear what problem or possibly two problems (one with ties and one with saving) you are describing. Please attach the score (.mscz file) you are having difficulty with and explain the problem or problems in more detail
- what are you trying to do?
- how are you trying to do that?
- what do you expect to happen?
- what is happening instead?

"Tied notes are playing as single notes during playback"

Surely that is exactly how tied notes should be played back? What exactly do you expect?

From Wikipedia:
In music notation, a tie is a curved line connecting the heads of two notes of the same pitch, indicating that they are to be played as a single note with a duration equal to the sum of the individual notes' values.

[EDIT] If you mean "played as separate notes", then you are probably using a slur instead of a tie.

I also made a first guess that this was about tie/slur confusion but then I wondered if perhaps the OP meant that a correctly tied note was not playing the "tied to" note at all. e.g. half tied to quarter only plays the half. That might be a bug or just reality not meeting expectation because of note decay times; hence my request for clarification.
