Playback is slowed down and isn nonstop crackling

Ever since I got my new headphones (Sony XM4) whenever I try to play something, it crackles. Not only that, but it gets incredibly slow. The problem is not with my headphones, they work perfectly otherwise. Itis also notable that it is not just my system, that cant process the sound.

Make sure your headphones are connected before you start MuseScore. In MuseScore, go to Edit-Preferences-I/O and check that your headphones, or the device powering them is selected. Not "System Default". While you are there, raise the Buffer to 4096.
