How to change folders path

I had to use an appimage to get the 4 release of Musescore on KDE Neon. Otherwise, with the 3, I would have not been able to insert notes with a MIDI keyboard.
My probem is that Musescore always anew re-create a folder in home/Documents, despite the fact I have set the folder in home. How could I get rid of this annoying behavior?
