Playback of chords in published scores

My scores are arrangements of jazz songs. I display the chord symbols for the benefit of the viewers, and I include my own chord voicings to the score. I do not want musescore to add notes to the music each time it encounters a chord symbol. I have chosen settings in my score so that it plays back correctly on my computer.

When I upload the score and publish it, the playback includes notes added by musescore each time it encounters a chord symbol, and it completely messes up my arrangement. How can I correct the problem?
