Musescore 4.0 crashing after omitting playback of entire trombone section.
I tried MS 4.0 for the first time yesterday 3/29 from about 5:00pm to 11:00pm.
I was writing a big band score entitled "Your Move" when it refused to playback the entire trombone section for eight measures, eve though the parts were notated. It also refused to playback the entire rhythm section.
Then I got a crash message saying that I could:
A) keep the score, but go back to the last time I saved it(which I chose).
B) Make a report to MS and get help, but there would be no guarantee I'd get back the lost playback.
C) Try to work around the problem.
I thought I should report this to the forum to help out fixing the bugs in MS 4.0/
I'll probably go back to MS 3.0 until I'm otherwise advised.

It's hard to help you find out what happened without the score.

Just making you aware of some bugs in the new version. I lost a lot of the score by making the choice to go back to the last time I saved it, so there's nothing to help me with. How would I show you the score?

You can share the score (.mscz file) by attaching it to your post on this message thread. Use the button "Choose a file" to attach the score.
