Repeats and Jumps: D.S Al Fermata plus TRIO

• May 8, 2023 - 10:27

Actual piece is Radetsky March OP228
I am transcibing an illegible dual voiced (Cornet 2 + Cornet 3) paper score into musescore and came across a term : D.S Al Fermata (actually the fermata symbol)
I know what it intends the player to do, its a case of how to notate it in Musescore
How do I do it in Musescore
Am thinking it may end up being a DS al coda, .....

Same piece also has TRIO
A themes / variation section

I'd use DS al Coda. Delete the word Coda and replace it with the fermata symbol. Then have a "To Coda" and replace its text with a fermata symbol. I'm guessing that the actual playback order - whether to do the Trio and when to do it - would be agreed by the bandmaster prior to playing it.
