I found a strange workaround for my playback issues.

I'm trying to get playback to work on my Asus X515M laptop. It works great on my desktop.

With or without musesounds, the musescore4 playback suffers severe amounts of crackles, skips, and lag.

Today I discovered that the playback runs perfectly smooth as long as I'm dragging the score around with my mouse.

Clicking and holding the score isn't enough; I need to be constantly moving the score around with my mouse while the playback is going on.

Of course, this is difficult to use as an actual work around, but I thought I should post it here in case it could help lead towards a future fix for myself and other users with the same problem. Or perhaps, with this information, someone might have an idea of what I can do to get my playback to work properly.
