Fitting more staves on a page
Having an amazing time importing and transposing PDFs for my church choir.
However, I can't seem to fill the page with staves. See attached; I'm getting three or even only two systems per page. Adjusting the page / staff spacing literally doesn't seem to make any difference. Nothing changes.
I've noticed that MuseScore sometimes behaves differently right after I save the file and so have gotten into the habit of a quick ctrl-S after every successful edit. But that's not helping here either.
In the interest of saving trees - ideas? Thanks.

There is a Page break at the end of the third system, and others later in the piece.
Especially after importing a file, if you are getting formatting issues, it's best to make everything that is hidden visible again. View >Show >Show formatting and tick to make formatting marks visible and you will see System breaks and Page Breaks.
If you click on each Page break and press [Enter], they will be replaced with System breaks and you can fit your piece onto two pages:
