Changing the pan of an instrument mid composition?

Not sure if this is possible, i've read through a few posts so far but have found nothing helpful, I'm thinking i may need to use a custom system text to change the pan on my instruments. I ask because i'm attempting to have a part that switches quite a bit during the piece without having to duplicate the track entirely. Here is the piece for context, trying to pan the square wave back and forth.
