"Working with VST and VSTi" (MS4 handbook): Need a section on how to install plugins
There is nothing in the MS4 handbook (AFAICS) about how to install plugins on the computer – what folder they should go into etc. A section on this needs to be added to the Working with VST and VSTi page.

Oops, this was an internet error. I couldn't delete it.
After you install the plugin, move it into the MuseScore 4 folder then put it into the plugins folder. Open up MuseScore then make sure you're in home. Click plugins then the plugin you want to install and finally click enable. I don't know if you use a mac, but if you do look in the top while writing a score, click plugins then click the one you want to use then it should work.

Hmm, as far as I know, there is only one place VST plugins can ever be installed on any given system. The installer shouldn't even offer other options, and once you install it, MuseScore should already know to find them there. So there really shouldn't be anything to say in the Handbook. Unbless you just wanted to add a sentence clarifying that you never need to worry about that.
