8th Fret Not Displayed In Tablature On Second String
Hello all,
the 8th fret is not displayed or cannot be entered in the tablature on the second string. This seems to be the case only when I use the Staff Type "Tab.6-str.full".
I am using OS: macOS 13.4, Arch: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.0.2-230651546, revision: dbe7c6d.

It would be surprising if this were related to a Staff type. Have you really tried with "simple" and "common" staff types?
If not, I guess it's a conflict with another function. Look in your shortcuts and on your keyboard to see what this number 8 might refer to?
As far as I'm concerned, since Version 4, I am in complete failure when it comes to entering numbers. I have to go through the letters a=0, b=1, c=2, etc. for it to work :(
This is one of the reasons why I'm sticking with Version 3 for my personal work.

Yes.
Are you by chance using a German keyboard layout? Some Mac users with German keyb aords are finding the shortcut for 8 isn't assigned correctly - apparently with that layout, Apple generates a different keycode from the standard for some reason. Try the alternate shortcut J instead. You may also be able to reassign the key in Edit / Preferences / Shortcuts.
