well at least that worked but now all my fucking saved preferences are all fucked up again.
Sighs Well, you win some you lose some...more...many...lol...maybe...idk

At least you can get back to work now, that's the main thing, isn't it?
When you create custom palettes, get into the habit of saving them, so you can easily retrieve and reinstall them if this kind of mishap happens to you again. And you'll never be bothered again.
The question is also: do you remember what you did to get to the previous sticky situation? This is not supposed to happen in the common use of palettes.

Ugh, yesterday was horrible. First, the wifi was out for several hours, then the power went out for a while.
The very last thing I remember doing was making preferences to where the score scrolls vertically instead of horizontally.

You do know that there are already vertical and horizontal scrollbars.

Its default is horizontal, and I switched to vertical.

With or without profanity, the only settings that would take more than a minute to restore manually are keyboard shortcuts, and those can be easily exported and imported. In the future, just do that before a factory reset.
But also for future reference, the specific preference that probably caused the problem was palette scale in the Advanced tab. Leave that one alone.

yeah, I should have done that... Well, regardless I did that just in case this happens again.
