Chord Letters disappear when adding sus
As the title says, I'm trying to add an A(sus4) chord to the music. The playback is correct but the letter A disappears once I click off editing the chord.
I've attached screenshots.
I'm using Musescore 4 on the current model Macbook Pro. Please advise and thank you!

Please attach your score here and steps to reproduce the problem. If we can confirm there is a bug, then you can open an issue on GitHub. but I suspect it will turn out you simply have a bad custom chord description XML file.

I think I understand what you are saying. I did start this score with an XML file. I'm going to try to recreate the score from a new score and see if I have the same issue. I will keep you updated.

When starting from a MusicXML file, there is a known bug where chord symbols don't render properly until you save and reload the score, or change the appearance setting in Format / Style / Chord symbols.
