MuseScore 4 crashes when digital piano is turned on/off/connected/disconnected
I have a very weird issue with version 4.x including the latest 4.1. I have a Yamaha DGX-670 digital piano that I have connected to my laptop on which I am running MuseScore. Almost every time but not every time I turn the piano on or off, or plug/unplug the cable, MuseScore crashes. Any ideas on how to solve the problem or what I can do to help solve it? I use Windows 10. MuseScore 3.x didn't have this issue and the setup was absolutely the same. Thanks!

MU4 doesn't like to have audio devices connected or disconnected while it is running. Nothing you can do except don't connect or disconnect while MU4 is running.

Ouch! OK, thank you. I was hoping the developers could fix this - it is a crash after all and rather frequent at that. After it crashes I reopen it and restore the session but it is an everyday annoyance.
