Wrong note played
Hello, Sometimes after using Copy/Paste on notes, the wrong note are played, in the example, Look at the bottom, when i select A, musescore still consider it is a G and the playback plays 2 G.

Diagnosis is difficult without seeing the "patient" - the .mscz file, rather than a video of it. But perhaps you are pasting to a transposing instrument in Bb which should play a tone lower than written i.e. play G for written A. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/transposition#transposing-instrumen… for more information on that. Note that you can display the score at sounding pitch (concert pitch) by toggling the button in the bottom right of the screen.

Sorry I said A instead B ... I can fix it by deleting the note and write another one. here is a file with the problem ( Bar 5). I don't think it is a transposing issue. I'm a beginner, maybe I'm missing something...

In Properties/Chord, a y-offset of -1.05sp was set for the note. This shifts the note up without changing the pitch. Admittedly, I don't know what this function is supposed to be useful for :-).
You might have to find this setting and set the values to zero. I could guide you only for MuS 3:
Select note, set the chord offset to the default value in inspector (properties in MuS 4).

The B is actually a G but you've some how managed to put a x=0.4sp Y=-1.05sp offset on the chord properties of the note (select the note and then F8 for inspector).

That explains it, then. To put it back to its correct position select it and use CTRL+R (CTRL + R resets any adjustments made to an element to the defaults).
I guess that this was the result of some clumsy mouse-work. It is usually quicker and easier to input noted using the keyboard once you get the hang if it. Also for jonibigoods: could you explain where to find the chord offset settings in MuS 4 - I don't have MuS 4.

OK... This is a visual offset... I don't really know how i did it and I don't find the setting in MS4 but Ctrl+ R is my new friend now...

As said, probably by (wrongly) shifting the note with the mouse.

1. Select the note
2. On the Properties panel click the Appearance tab
3. See the Offset settings (horizontal on the left, vertical on the right)

I tried this 'wrongly shifting' in MuS 3 but haven't success. Do you know how this can happen accidentally?

If you accidentally double-click before commencing the drag, you go into edit mode, and this happens (in Mu3 at least; this was fixed for MU4)
