Updating to latests version of MuseScore
I am constantly getting a message asking me to find the installation files for MuseScore 4.1.0.231921402x86_64. I cannot uninstall the old version as I am faced with having to find the same thing. There is no evidence of the file requested when I search my computer.
Does anyone know how to overcome this problem?

Are you on Windows? Can you remove the old version directly from within Windows (Add/Remove Programs, I think it's called)?

I was still being asked for the installation file. Eventually, I deleted Musescore from the program folder along with a1ll its files, cleared the registry of all references today Musescore and succeeded in installing the latest version.
