Tuplets + Parts+ Linked Staff = extra/missing beats
inserting or pasting tuplets when a part score is open w/ linked (tab) staff causes problems. Attached file has been corrupted in this way.
OS: Windows 10 Version 2009 or later, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.1.1-232071203, revision: e4d1ddf

I can confirm this file is currently corrupt, but in order to investigate further, we'd need to know the precise steps to reproduce that problem, starting from an uncorrupted score. Note there have been various other bugs involving corruption in older released that are fixed now - those same steps will no longer lead to corruption in 4.1.1. But scores already corrupted by older versions will remain corrupted even when opened in 4.1.1.

Can be done via:
New Score piano+guitar,
Add linked tab staff to guitar,
Open guitar part (normal+tab),
Add a quarter triplet in either the score or the part,
The triplet marking with not exist in the linked staff in the part you didn't insert into
Attempt to save and it's corrupted.

Hmm, I tried and it worked fine for me. Can you maybe go through the steps right up to the one right before the corruption appears, then save and attach that, then tell us exactly how to reproduce the problem from there - exactly where and how you are entering the triplet?

OK, I'm able to confirm, Seems to be very specific to the exact way the parts were set up, so I still suggest saving a copy of the score from the moment before you add the triplet. Then open an issue on GitHub (https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues) and ZIP and attach your score there, along with listing the steps to reproduce the problem starting from there.

Thanks; I'll get on that.
