Converting from treble to Bass , the bass staff notes become incorrect

Hi. Sometimes I obtain a score that has rather low notes in the treble clef . When I then change the clef to the bass one, the notes are correctly indicated in the bottom left when you select them but on the staff they are in strange positions. For example the D note is shown as a B note of the staff. You will see in the 1 st upload the notes are as shown. Then in the second, I changed the treble clef to a bass one and now the notes are all wrong!! The D note is shown in position for B, and so on for all the other notes. What am I doing wrong?
