Change in file format from 0.9.5 to 0.9.6

I used the 0.9.6 for some time (from https://launchpad.net/~mscore-ubuntu/+archive/ppa/+packages, the 096b 2148, the Jaunty debian package, under Karmic), and wrote two scores.

However, and because I got no sound with this version, I "regressed" to 0.9.5, the one in the official Karmic packages, and recovered the sound, which I need for a long score I have to prepare..

And I saw that these two "9.6" scores get confused if opened under "9.5". This is not very important for me in the situation, but would be better that one be aware of, in case......

This information will of course be included in the release notes for the next stable release of MuseScore.

The Windows prereleases have a README file that warns about this (see http://prereleases.musescore.org/windows/prerelease-README.txt ). I don't know how many Windows users read it before downloading the prerelease.

I have also thought about using the demo score that opens up by default for informational (and maybe even tutorial) purposes. I have started to experiment with this for the Windows nightly builds.

Do you have suggestions of good ways to notify the users without annoying them with popup dialogs?
