VST Problem
Hello,
I used VST from Spitfire Audio on my score, but when I try to upload it into Musescore website, the message appears: "Publish changes online? We will need to generate a new MP3 for web playback." and audio on the website is default, despite using a VST.
I'm counting on Your help.

I assume you answered yes, and then saw the progression dialog as the audio was generated? Are you sure you are viewing the correct copy of the score online (you may have published it previously with a different URL)?

Yes, I answered "yes" and saw the progression dialog, and yes, I'm sure I'm viewing the correct copy of the score. But I forgot to add that I also used a Surge XT Effects and when I turned it off (in other score) and uploaded it to the website, the problem vanished.

Interesting. If you export to MP3 directly with the VST enabled, does that work normally?

Yes, if I export to MP3 it works normally. But I found yet recently, when I wanted to upload my another score, that there was no audio from VST on the website, even if I had Surge XT VST disabled.

Very strange. It’s possible it’s an issue on the musescore.com side, but hard to say. I recommend opening an issue on GitHub and attaching your score (zip it first), and listing all VST and other third-party sounds used. Then someone can investigate further.
