musescore not opening on Mac

Hi, I've just downloaded the latest version of musescore half hour ago on a MacOS Venture version 13.3. Initially musehub opened but now it will not. I've tried to delete the app but it says it can't delete because musehub is running. When I go into forcequit, it's not showing up on the list of open apps. Any ideas why this might be happening?
