Playback Doesn't Start

Recently I've had an issue with MuseScore where when I hit the play button, nothing happens. The play button will change to a pause button as if it's playing, but nothing else happens. The line that indicates where the playback currently is doesn't move, and no sound comes out.

Windows 10 Version 2009 or later, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.1.1-232071203, revision: e4d1ddf

I have tried resetting to factory settings and even fully reinstalled MuseScore. The scores work on the MuseScore website, but not on that application on my computer. I've also tried downloading others' scores and creating new scores, none of them were able to play.

It's a little weird because it's not a simple issue of the sound not coming out, the playback doesn't even start. Any ideas?
