Shortcut for moving cursor vertical between staffs/systems
I'm a first timer here, excuse me if my question is answered elsewhere.
Is there a shortcut for moving the cursor vertically from one note line to another?

When I do what you suggest the highlighted note just moves up or down (changes pitch)....?!?..... I can only move the cursor sideways when using arrow left/right. :-)

Exactly, and when I use the arrow up/down (like you suggested) the highlighted note just moves up/down and changes pitch. I cannot make the cursor jump from one system to another below or above...?

When do this all I get is the highlighted note being played. No cursor movement...?!?
PROBLEM SOLVED.......sort of..... :-(
By default Arrow up/down is used for changing the pitch of a note in the system. When removing this shortcut it is possible to make new shortcut (arrow up/down) that makes the cursor jump to the left end of the next system.
(Off course you can make a shortcut with other keys)

I don't recommend changing the up/down arrow key combination as this is used quite often, e.g. to change F to F# or A to Ab.
Much more often than changing the cursor to the other staff.
