Can an existing file be appended to another one to make one large file?

I created the subject files separately and would like to combine them into a multi-page book. They all have the same format; that is, each file is a single page, with a title, a 32-measure tune, a 32-measure jazz chord group (plus a few coda measures), and with the same format settings. My notion is to create one PDF with up to 10 tunes that I can transfer to an iPad.

I would like to avoid having to compile the files manually into a single book.
