Glissando/Portamento in 4.2 is a little bit...funky, to say the least.
Yeah, so I heard that 4.2 update was out. I went to try my new guitar sounds and they sound amazing. Then, I went back to my old work to listen if the trombone balanced was fixed (read: louder than horn) yet.
However, the downward glissando were off. I am confused since it worked in the last version. I then tried trombone portamento if it worked since the update. And guess what, that didn't work too.
So, here it is. A bug report. I know you are amazing and try to build a free software for everyone, but everyone makes mistake once in a while.

I can confirm the weird gliss in the piccolo and flute. Please report this to the developers by opening an issue on GitHub (https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues).
Regarding trombone portamento, I don't believe this is supported yet for Msue Sounds (nor was it in previous versions), but it should work in MS Basic.
For more information, I set the glissandi to be chromatic, and yet it played whole tone scale. It seems like every other note of the glissandi is missing.
I have the same issue with the tenor sax
I have this same issue with All of my instruments. In the scores I write, there is a lot of Glissandos and Rips for Trumpets and horns. Its really frustrating because I need the Glissandos in my scores.
