Muse Guitars sounds are bugged. MuseSampler stuck on 0.4.1, cannot update.

• Dec 28, 2023 - 18:14

I recently updated my MuseScore to version 4.2 (OS: Windows 10 Version 2009 or later, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.2.0-233521124, revision: eb8d33c), and upon installing the Muse Guitars library I immediately noticed the playback was bugged. I was looking forward to the new guitar sounds and features, as I'm currently doing a lot of guitar/bass work.

Looking around in the forums, a failed MuseSampler update is suggested as a reason for the playback bug, and updating it is proposed as a solution. I am indeed stuck on Muse Sampler 0.4.1

I have not been able to update MuseSampler in any way. Deleting the application cache from MuseHub, reinstalling MuseHub and MuseScore, or reinstalling MuseScore as standalone (after fresh reboots) did not help. Muse Hub insists that all my applications and sounds are up to date, even when forcing update search.
I haven't found any clear path to updating MuseSampler on its own,

Anything to do? Am I stuck with a borked MuseSampler until the next update, or potentially indefinitely?
Thanks in advance.

I am now also getting an "Unable too install Muse Sampler: Muse Hub was unable to find the required configuration to install this application. Please try again." message from Muse Hub.
Followed by "Unable to download MuseSampler. Something went wrong, please try again later. ID: musesampler Type: Application"

Still stuck at 0.4.1 with borked playback.
