Notes still playing after the double line.
I was writing some piece and I wanted to end a variation with a double line (Like at the end of the piece). It worked fine before the update, but now it plays during the 3s period rest. lt didn't use to do that. Is this a bug or intentional? If it is intentional, then add some switch to enable and disable it. Also another problem. Before the update I was able to hear the appoggiaturas (grace notes) after the trill but now I can't hear them.

I don't see any double barline there, nor do I hear anything from that image...
I guess you might be talking about a section break. That indeed in 4.2.0 has a bug, known and in the works

I am speculating you were using the basic sounds before and not Muse Sounds. Try changing that in the mixer.

I wasn't using MS Basic before, I know that I used MuseSounds
