New bluetooth headphones - how to make them work with MS?
My old bluetooth headphones died and I have just purchased some new ones. I have paired them with my laptop and checked that they are working - they play mp3 files fine. However, I seem to recall that when I bought my previous headphones I had to instruct MS to talk to them but I can't remenber how to do it! At the moment nothing will play from MS. Any help would be much appreciated.

I have both MS3 and MS4 so getting them to work with both would be very handy!

set your MS to use your system default audio output. then connect your BT earphones as the system audio output. then all apps which use the system default audio output will be heard - MP3 player, MS, web video, etc etc.

And make sure you connect your headphones before starting MU4. You might have to select them in MU4. Edit>Preferences>I/O.

Thank you both or your responses. I reset preferences to system defaults and the problem was solved.
