Changing dynamics playback of individual notes/staffs

• Feb 10, 2024 - 23:12

I'm working on a piano arrangement of What Makes You Beautiful by One Direction, and I'd like to know how I can change the audio dynamics of a single staff. I can do it visually just fine, but when I play it back, the dynamics of that one staff are the same as the other staves (I'm using three this time) even though the middle one is marked forte and the other two are marked mezzo-forte. Changing the velocity of the notes in the middle staff does nothing for me. Please help!

And if this feature was removed (it was available in MuseScore 3), PUT IT BACK IN!!!! Thanks in advance.

Also, where can I find a solid Rock Piano soundfont for this arrangement? None of the other soundfonts I've found quite work.

This post has been silent for a week without any comments. Can someone please help me with this? I didn't post this just to get ignored.

In the meantime, you can go to the extra trouble of setting up a score with 3 pianos. Then make it look like your score by hiding and renaming staves. and removing names using staff properties. Then all three staves can have different volumes. Didn't really take too long to modify your score. Could still use a little clean-up. But I think you get the idea.
