Yes, this is certainly possible. My image is from Musescore 3, but if you are in edit mode, this should be selectable in the properties of MuS 4 as well.

Hello, Hilde, and thanks for your reply! I am talking about user interface strings like the ones in the Palette in your image, e.g. "Dynamics" and "Brackets".

Then unfortunately I misunderstood you.
I assume that the formats of the character strings are hard-coded in the language files and that there are no such modification options.

One can't use superscript or subscript in the translation tool Transifex as of now (as far as I know), but it would make the Swedish (traditional) translation better if made possible.

Yes, it is possible even on Transifex, I did it with notenames:

It was fiddly, something like copy/paste them from some unicode table
