Musescore Cannot uninstall old version + Cannot install
For whatever reason, my computer can't uninstall from the old version (4.0) and even MuseHub is acting up.
Nothing has worked so far. These errors were taken from the control pannel, which shows no hidden folders at all.

I have a similar problem on my end.
I want to use Musescore 3.6 or 3.7 to create music synced for videos which Musecore 4 doesn't support. But when I tried installing musescore 3.6 it gave me this error

. So I went to the control panel and removed it manually. As you can see here

it's no longer there. Now I tried to install 3.6 again I got the same error, so I followed advice and tried to reinstall 3.3 and I got this error

I cannot install because it is already installed but it's not there. And I cannot uninstall because... IDk it just won't work.

Have you got that 3.3 version from the Microsoft Store maybe?

No, I downloaded it from the official website.

There must be remnants of the previous installation, just removing an entry in the control panel won't get rid of those.
There's a) the stuff in C:\Program Files\MuseScore3 and b) loads of MuseScore related entries in the registry

By removing all those remmnants
To the OP (sorry, quite late): Make sure to download that missing file (even if it is down-rev) and place it where that dialog wants it
