Triplets/Tuplets
I am trying to enter a line that has a continuous triplet patern for four measures. However, in one of the measures the pattern crosses the barline in the middle of the pattern (Quarter note triplet of: eighth note, two-sixteenth notes, eighth note). It starts on an upbeat, with an eighth note rest between each triplet... This means one measure starts in the middle of the two eighth notes.
Musescore gives me an error mssg saying that a "Tuplet cannot cross barlines". Any suggestions on how I can enter this?

Tuplets cannot cross barlines in musescore afaik.
I don't think it's officially supported. You can fake it by making measures longer than the time signature and adding in a barline from the master palette.

I never thought of that 🤔
What is the time signature ? 3/4 wouldn't require triplets crossing barlines however, for example, 4/4 would.
Is this your basic repeated rhythm ?
