Hairpins work on some instruments but not others
Hi all.
Have recently begun composing a new piece (pdf attached).
I've noticed the single note dynamics seem to have no effect on my piccolo and oboe tracks; though they work well on the clarinet and brass tracks.
The tremolo also fails on my piccolo track (in Bar 17), and the niente tipped hairpins don't appear to work correctly on any instrument.
Plus the maracas don't sound like they should.
(I'm interested to know which percussion instrument they're emulating, as it's actually perfect for this piece!)
I wonder if these are due to limitations of Muse Sounds?
Another issue I've noticed is audio juddering on the brass crescendo in Bar 28 (a real shame, as it sounds fantastic otherwise!)

Probably should've added my mscz file instead of pdf: so here it is!
The maracas fault is weird! When I select one of these notes and press the up or down arrow, suddenly I hear actual maracas, and it won't go back to the unknown sound I had before.
N.B. This track has been automatically set to MS Basic on the mixer; whereas everything else is set to Muse Sounds.
On my system, none of your SND's work. They can't because in MU4, dynamics have to be attached to a note. You have attached them to rests. The brass in measure 28 sound fine. And no, niente don't work at all. I seem to remember something about tremolos not working on tied notes.
I'm not sure there is a maracas sound i either font.

Thanks so much for your reply!
I'm not sure how to add a hairpin with a target dynamic at the end, both attached to the same note?
That's why I put the target dynamic on the following rest.
I wondered if there's another thread on this topic?
If so, I'm having trouble finding it.
I could use the workaround of attaching the target dynamic to a short tied note at the end of the longer note; but this makes my score appear over-cluttered.
N.B. My audio file (including the strange sound produced by the maracas) is posted here:
