Need help with Text

First, I can't get a copyright to just stay on the first page. It goes to all pages, and I can't turn that off.

Second, I really wish there was a way (just like in Finale) to drop a text frame anywhere I want it, and type whatever I like, and format that particular instance without changing anything else. Not affecting layout, or measure numbers. No Staff Text, System Text, Vertical Frames, etc. None of that stuff. Just a simple text box, that won't respace the staves, or leave the dotted frame lines on the score.

Is that too much to ask for? Notes, rests, lyrics, things from the palettes are just dandy. I love them. But text, not so much.
