playback audio now sounds extremely glitchy and stuttering with new 4.4 update
I don't know what went wrong when I installed the new update but the playback audio sounds extremely glitchy and stutters heavily. This happens to both MuseSounds and Musescore Basic playback. My laptop uses Linux btw, in case that might help with trying to debug the situation.

I am having the same problem. I just updated to 4.4 on a Mac Mini running OS Monterey 12.7.6. I always record the audio from the MuseScore into Audio Hijack in order to send conductors an audio reference along with the score. I dropped the audio buffer in MS all the way down to 128 and it is still full of glitches. This is a real problem for me. Since the score was last saved in v4,4 I can't open it in an earlier version - one that didn't insert the glitches. What's the solution?
