i cant toggle off rest in studio
im trying to make Bumpin' by Reed Nikolich in the studio, and when i try to toggle off rest, it doesnt work

Can you expplain what you mean by "toggle off rest"? It's not clear what you might mean by that. But you shouldn't normally need to toggle anything off. Just enter all notes and rests left to right. Just as you don't "toggle off space" in a word processor.
