Corrupted Score error related to Time Signatures

The last few days I have had multiple 'corrupted score' errors (Windows 10 Version 2009 or later, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore Studio version (64-bit): 4.4.2-242570931, revision: 3130f97) and this seems to be related to erroneous time signatures. What I mean is I will have a time signature of 6/4 for example and when I add a whole note the measure will show the whole note and a quarter note rest-- which should be a half note rest. Then shortly thereafter I will get the corrupted score error. This is unacceptable and needs to be fixed. It is not just with 6/4 but other time signatures as well. Something serious is going on that needs debugging. Anybody else seeing this sort of error with 4.4.2?
