Underscore Bug on 2nd voice of any part

Hello! I've been using musescore for a while (even since musescore 2) and obviously love it. I'm currently dealing with an issue with lyrics on the second voice of any line.

This happens whenever I'm using (shift + -) to add an underscore at the end of a word, extending the last syllable to a melisma. Everything works great until you reach the last notehead of a word, at which point the underscore extends through the line on the entire score. This strikes through the lyrics of that part for the entire rest of that score.

The example I provided shows what I mean. This glitch happens when you attempt to reach the 2nd notehead in the alto line with the underscore in m. 80.
