Musescore theft from my bank
I must have asked for a score on a Trial basis in April this year. I cancelled the trial immediately.
Weeks later, I had emails from an automatic system, searching for my card details, trying to bill me £39. After having a few of these attempts to bill me, I contacted Musescore a person assured me, that the direct debit had been cancelled.
In November this year, I paid £3.50 for a score, and naturally used my card. The next day, I was billed £39. My bank flagged it as a theft, and cancelled my card. However, Musescore's automated billing system got the money. Musescore has given me no receipt of any kind, and there is no record of the debit on my Musescore account.
I have emailed Musescore's help line several times, and instructed my bank to retrieve the money.
To me, because nobody is interested in finding where this money has gone, there is no receipt, and because nobody is answering my emails, this is the behaviour of a crooked organisation. I want the money back. This is theft.
My only recourse seems to be, to complain about Musescore in public, which is what this is. It is a badly run organisation which is involved in online crime.
